Job summary

VSE is seeking an Aviation Technician I to inspect, service, and overhaul aircraft components. The role requires high mechanical aptitude and strict adherence to federal and company regulations, with emphasis on fuel/pneumatic systems.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and document work using manuals, read schematics, maintain calibrated tools, and ensure safe operations in a fast-paced environment. Monday-Thursday shift 6:30am–5:00pm is required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree (A&P) or equivalent; 4+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, service, and overhaul aircraft fuel/pneumatic components
• Document work performed per manuals and regulations
• Maintain calibrated tools and comply with EH&S policies
• Perform work assignments as determined by the shop lead
