Job summary

Embraer in Melbourne, FL is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician (2nd shift) to inspect, repair, assemble, and test aircraft accessories in accordance with FAA-approved procedures and OEM data.

The role requires an A&P license and 2–5 years of small aircraft/general aviation experience, with strong diagnostic and hand-tool skills, and the ability to follow precise work packages and safety standards.

Qualifications

• A&P license is required and 2–5 years of small aircraft/general aviation experience.
• Ability to read OEM data and work packages.
• Strong diagnostic and hand-tool skills while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Examine, repair, assemble, and test aircraft accessories per shop orders and specs.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent failures of mechanical systems.
• Determine repair schemes and source necessary parts from stores.
• Follow FAA-approved procedures and OEM data; consult Maintenance Lead as needed.
• Complete work package documentation and ensure airworthiness.
• Provide performance data to supervisor and ensure proper time/material accounting.
