Job summary

Embraer in Melbourne, FL is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic for the 2nd shift to inspect, repair, assemble and test aircraft components in compliance with FAA regulations and OEM data. You will work on engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and structure, following approved procedures and maintaining documentation.

Must hold an A&P license with 2–5 years of hands-on experience on one aircraft type, and be proficient with reading work packages and using hand/power tools.

Qualifications

• A&P License required; 2–5 years’ experience with small aircraft on one aircraft type.
• Depot level maintenance and repair experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read OEM work packages and FAA-approved procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, rework and modify assemblies per OEM data and FAA procedures.
• Perform routine inspections and complete operations checks of hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing and rigs.
• Determine repair scope, source parts, and document work with signatures and stamps.
• Test repaired components and sign off; coordinate with Maintenance Lead for reviews.
• Maintain time/material records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
