Job summary

Embraer in Melbourne, FL is seeking a skilled technician for a 2nd shift position performing production assembly and flight preparation on electronic and mechanical assemblies. You will read diagrams and blueprints, and use hand and power tools to build and prepare aircraft components for flight.

The role requires collaborating with QA and manufacturing engineering to troubleshoot component issues, conduct verifications, and ensure compliance with FAA and OEM data.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• A&P and mechanical/electrical experience preferred.
• Aircraft structures experience is a plus.
• Ability to read diagrams, drawings, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Performs production assembly and flight preparation tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Follows diagrams and blueprints; uses hand and/or power tooling and ground support equipment; conducts quality checks.
• Collaborates with quality and manufacturing engineering for troubleshooting component replacements and failures.
• May conduct operator verification quality inspections in flight phase or supporting production line per quality specs.
• Completes work package documentation per FAA and/or repair station manuals; submits for Quality Assurance inspection and airworthiness certification.
