Job summary

Embraer in Melbourne, FL is seeking a skilled Aircraft Technician for the 2nd shift to inspect, repair, assemble and test aircraft accessories including engines, pumps and fuel systems. You will follow shop orders and OEM specifications, using hand tools and testing devices to ensure airworthiness.

Requirements include an A&P license and 2–5 years of small aircraft experience; familiarity with FAA regulations and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• A&P license required.
• 2–5 years of small aircraft/general aviation experience.
• Depot level maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret OEM/work package instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, assemble and test components per shop orders.
• Determine repair schemes and procure needed parts.
• Modify worn assemblies and apply corrective actions.
• Follow FAA-approved procedures and OEM data.
• Consult Maintenance Lead for technical guidance.
• Ensure work meets standards and signs off when complete.
• Document time and materials accurately for each task.
