Job summary

RTI seeks a Field Applications Engineer to support Aerospace & Defense customers in the EMEA region. You will partner with the regional Account Manager to drive growth, present RTI technology, and execute PoC engagements with detailed demos.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in A&D in a technical role, strong OS/networking knowledge, C/C++ development, and proven customer-facing communication in English. EU citizenship is required for security clearance considerations.

Qualifications

BS or higher in technical field; MS preferred.
Ability to travel ~20-40% and on-site work is required.
5+ years in Aerospace & Defense in a technical role.
Strong OS and networking understanding (UDP, Multicast, OSI, routing).
C/C++ development expertise and SDLC understanding.

Responsibilities

Achieve annual sales quota by creating compelling presentations of RTI value to prospects.
Lead PoC engagements and build demos using RTI products.
Support proposals to align with customer requirements (RFP/RFQ).
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve pre-sales technical blockers and respond to RFPs.
Document customer requirements with Product Management for EMEA market evolution.
Develop sales strategies with Account management to grow pipeline.
Create technical articles highlighting RTI technology and business value.
Attend trade shows and events to present and booth-manage RTI products.
