Job summary

A leading technology manufacturer is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to provide technical support on PCB design and manufacturing for Aerospace & Defense OEMs. The role entails collaborating with customers to improve design quality, providing DFM and DFV support, and participating in technical discussions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, over 10 years of relevant experience, and strong PCB engineering skills. This position is remote with preferred location in the Eastern region of the US.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in advanced engineering activities related to PCB manufacturing preferred.
• Intermediate level skills using PCB CAM software, drawing/blueprint interpretation skills.
• Minimum level experience of electrical design performance and signal integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide DFM and DFV support to customer engineering and design teams.
• Collaborate with customer designers to improve quality of design packages.
• Support drawing reviews prior to design release.

Skills

Strong printed circuit engineering background

Effective public speaking and presentation skills

Ability to establish contacts and build relationships

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
