MSI is seeking an Associate Commercial Specification Sales Representative to grow MSI product specifications with the A&D community across commercial projects. You will develop relationships, drive specifications at the design stage, and coordinate with local and national teams to convert projects to MSI sales.

The role requires strong presentation skills, two years of relevant experience, and a bachelor’s degree where preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Two or more years calling on the A&D community or equivalent B2B/outside sales experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build specifier relationships and manage multiple projects.
• Strong presentation skills, including comfort presenting to large audiences.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with strong organizational and follow-up discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers in the territory.
• Identify key architecture firms and create strategic account plans.
• Drive MSI specifications during design stage of commercial projects.
• Manage leads and sample inquiries with accurate product information.
• Provide samples and keep A&D libraries stocked with MSI product materials.
• Maintain project specifications in the CRM/project tracking system.
• Track projects through bid and buyout, ensuring MSI specification is maintained.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure proper quote and delivery.
• Align territory activity with broader commercial strategy with leadership.
• Conduct product knowledge presentations and CEU seminars.
