Formica Corporation is seeking an A&D Specialist to lead architectural and design specifications across Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Northern Idaho. You will drive awareness of Formica products in the design community and collaborate with Territory Managers, Inside Sales, and distributors to move projects to close.

The role requires 3 years of solutions-based sales experience in construction materials, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• 3 years of solutions-based sales experience.
• Background in construction materials.
• LEED AP or GA preferred.
• Previous Business-To-Business sales experience.
• Knowledge of/experience in Construction and/or Design Industries.
• Ability to travel.
• Proven ability to coach, manage, and motivate others to achieve results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
• Ability to collaborate across internal org (Field Sales, Marketing, Legal).
• Proficient use of MS Office; Excel emphasis.
• Experience leveraging CRM (SFDC) to manage a sales territory.

Responsabilités

• Act as key member of a specification team in the assigned geographic area.
• Create awareness for Formica brand and products among architecture and design communities.
• Track and close specified projects with Territory Managers.
• Engage with the A&D Spec Manager to align tools with Formica marketing.
• Coordinate with local distributor branches to track projects and coach distributors.
