Job summary

PoliLam, a fast-growing global manufacturer of high‑pressure laminate and phenolic compact, seeks a Specifications Sales Representative in Seattle, WA. You will drive product specifications with architecture and design firms, commercial contractors, and millwork partners, educating clients, hosting presentations, and coordinating with distributors to convert specs into orders.

Local travel is required daily with monthly multi-state trips.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in A&D sales, specification sales, commercial building materials, or related surfaces industry (laminate, solid surface, compact, panels, casework, cabinetry, architectural finishes).
Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills; polished, professional, and confident with A&D audiences.
Existing relationships within A&D firms.
Ability to manage a large territory and monthly multi-state travel.
Experience using CRM platforms (Odoo, Feishu, HubSpot, or similar).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with architecture & design firms, millwork companies, developers, hospitality groups, and general contractors.
Conduct in-person presentations, Lunch & Learns, library updates, and product trainings.
Promote PoliLam surface collections and new product launches.
Drive product specifications on commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and residential projects.
Track active projects from design concept to order placement.
Utilize SpecLink and Material Bank to improve outreach and project tracking.
