Job summary

Sensata Technologies in Thousand Oaks, CA seeks an Operations Transformation Leader to drive manufacturing transformation and operational improvements across product lines and sites. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Program Management to improve capacity, flow, delivery, and inventory in a low-volume, high-mix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing tasks.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Advise on methods, operation sequences, and processes in manufacturing.
• Collaborate with design engineering for new product releases.
• Estimate manufacturing costs and determine tooling and process needs.
• Lead records and reporting systems for coordination of operations.
• Plan and design manufacturing processes in an industrial plant.
• Advise on design and evaluation to support manufacturing operations such as machining and assembly.
