Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Account Director for the Aerospace & Defense sector to own and grow major accounts. You will lead day-to-day activities, guide delivery teams, and drive P&L outcomes while shaping a strategy to win large, multi-service engagements.

The role requires deep A&D knowledge, strong communication, and a track record of closing multi-million dollar deals. This position emphasizes strategic leadership, client satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Aerospace & Defense domain.
• Experience with ITAR, NIST 800-171/800-53, CMMC 2.0 Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Forge relationships with VP/CXO decision makers across IT and business teams in the Aerospace & Defense Industry.
• Map client organization, build relationships, and craft a sales strategy for developing new business opportunities.
• Drive revenue by prioritization, structuring, and leading multi-service line deals.
• Own and deliver on revenue and Total Commercial Value targets; lead negotiations and outsourcing discussions.
• Understand client priorities and provide Cognizant capabilities and value propositions.
