Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; four-year degree preferred.
• Experience in crisis intervention preferred.

• Ability to document data in systems while assisting callers

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming communications with patience, respect and empathy.

• Help callers regain safety and return to normal functioning.
• Refer callers to ongoing treatment based on need.
• Escalate 911 if necessary.
• Document interactions in designated databases.
• Follow-up to monitor progress and concerns.
• Maintain privacy under HIPAA and related laws.
