Qualifications

• 2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent experience acceptable
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in emergency communications or related field
• 1 year of supervisory experience (people/program/operational)
• Experience coordinating multiple operational and administrative responsibilities
• Experience using computer-based communications, records, scheduling or administrative systems

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Public Safety Communications Center.
• Provide supervision of full-time and part-time Communications Officers.
• Coordinate police radio, emergency telephone, and campus communications during incidents.
• Conduct quality reviews of communications records and performance metrics.
• Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and vendor coordination.
