Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a 90-Day Collector in Agoura Hills, CA. Base pay is $20.00 per hour with bonus potential up to $5,800 monthly based on performance, plus tiered retention bonuses of $500 at 3 and 6 months.

An additional kicker of $100–$750 may apply if goals are exceeded. You will manage accounts overdue by more than three payments, employing skip-tracing and negotiation to bring accounts current and locate collateral when needed.

Qualifications

• Strong skip-tracing knowledge and ability to locate customers or collateral effectively.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with professional phone etiquette.
• Flexible schedule – able to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Thorough understanding of FDCPA and state/federal collection laws.
• Proficient computer skills with typing speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers with accounts more than 90 days past due to discuss payment options and resolve delinquencies.
• Use skip-tracing techniques to locate customers who are difficult to reach and identify collateral locations.
• Negotiate payment solutions tailored to each customer’s situation to help bring accounts current.
• Achieve monthly goals while maintaining quality, compliance, and professionalism.
• Collaborate with repossession agents to recover collateral when required.
• Reduce delinquency rates in your assigned queue through consistent follow-up and strategic communication.
• Handle a high volume of calls efficiently in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
