Job summary

Four Seasons Jackson Hole is seeking an experienced bartender/server to deliver an exceptional beverage and dining experience for resort guests. You will describe menu items with vivid details, take orders, and ensure service aligns with state alcohol laws and Four Seasons standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of bartending/serving in a fast-paced, high-end setting, fluent English, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. A valid US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Legal work authorization in the United States required.

Responsibilities

• Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience.
• Describe menu items with vivid origin, taste, and preparation notes.
• Follow state alcohol laws while adhering to Four Seasons standards.
• Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegant environment.
• Take and communicate guest orders to the kitchen and POS system.
• Assist with table setup, breakdown, and side duties as needed.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of the restaurant, resort, and surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience.
• Take guest orders and describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Provides resort guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service, following the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons standards of service.
• Complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar and ensures that all the details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.
• Ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience.
• Make food or drink recommendations/suggestions, confirm allergies or preferences and ensure information is captured and facilitated accurately to kitchen team and POS system.
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen.
• Perform additional side duties including breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, silverware preparation, and other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
• Provide an in-depth knowledge of the restaurant, resort and surrounding area.

Preferred Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
• Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Fluent English
• 1-2 year bartending/serving experience in a fast-paced high-end restaurant setting required.
• Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40lbs.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
