Job summary

GE Renewable Energy Power and Aviation in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Lead Production Supervisor for the 4th shift to oversee shop operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity goals are met daily.

You will coach direct reports, collaborate with teams, and coordinate with plant leadership to execute the business strategy, while driving improvements and a flexible workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a high school diploma with 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Must be willing to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with assigned team to meet business objectives.
• Drive a culture of safety, quality, and integrity to meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep machines safely operational and PMs performed as required.
• Schedule shop and allocate resources to meet customer demand.
• Own training matrix and ensure cross-training and flexible workforce.
• Provide input to leadership on continuous improvement and investment strategies.
