Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a 4th Shift Maintenance Leader to ensure PMs and Work Orders on the 4th shift are completed promptly. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and Shift Supervisors via daily pass-downs and will train with the team to uphold SOPs, safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires junior to mid-level maintenance experience, ability to manage workload, and oversee adherence to GMP, HAACP, PSM programs, and company policies. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months cumulative experience in industrial maintenance or auto mechanics; education/certification can substitute for experience.
• Proven leadership abilities and ability to train and coach team members.
• Strong mechanical background with ability to use hand tools and trades-type tools.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and email; familiarity with CMMS required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all shift work orders are assigned correctly and completed on time.
• Train 4th Shift team members on PM program, work orders and SOPs.
• Communicate expectations regarding teamwork, attitude and performance.
• Verify pre-operational status of all equipment and maintain lockout/tagout programs.
