Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across a pork processing facility. You will perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, trolley systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, and you may weld or perform basic electrical work as needed.

The role requires read-and-write communication, training progression, and the ability to work in shifts, including nights and overtime, in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year on-the-job training or related experience in maintenance.
• Experience in manufacturing settings with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or PLC troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets in a pork processing facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production systems including conveyors and trolley lines.
• Read and document work on scheduling sheets and training modules.
• Work safely in cold, damp or hot environments and lift up to 60 pounds.
