Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• K-12 classroom experience strongly preferred.
• Reading Academies certification or willingness to obtain TX training within required timelines.
• Bilingual certification strongly preferred, ESL certification not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance.
• Use formal and informal assessments to track progress and adjust instruction.
• Communicate students’ progress with students and families weekly.
• Use technology to enhance instruction and administrative tasks.
• Apply a clear behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Contribute to a productive school culture.
• Establish cooperative relationships with students and families.
• Host tutoring sessions as needed.
• Attend weekly manager check-ins and grade-level meetings.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
• Work minimum 40+ hours per week.
• Additional duties may include after-school tutoring or Saturday school.
