Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in assigned core academic subject and ability to pass IDEA content assessment.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design and instructional practices.
• Ability to manage student behavior and maintain a productive classroom.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort adapting to changing school environments and needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Assess and track individual student progress and adjust plans accordingly.
• Communicate students’ progress with families weekly.
• Utilize technology to enhance learning and administrative tasks.
• Establish a consistent behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
