Job summary

University of Missouri in Gallatin, MO seeks an Educational Program Associate I to support 4-H Youth Development programs across the county. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering curricula and activities that foster leadership, citizenship, and life skills in youth.

The position emphasizes building external partnerships, coordinating events, and engaging volunteers while traveling within the county and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and some experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
• Preferred Qualifications include six hours in one or more domains of the 4-H PRKC taxonomy for youth development (leadership, citizenship, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, management, and support of 4-H Youth Development programs in the assigned geographic area.
• Build and expand partnerships with external local organizations and internal university programs to grow the 4-H program.
• Coordinate and/or conduct educational events, contests, camps, and programs using a positive youth development approach.
