Job summary

The University of Missouri Extension's 4-H Center for Youth Development in Daviess County invites applications for an Educational Program Associate I. The role supports planning, management, and delivery of 4-H Youth Development programs across Missouri, under supervision of the 4-H Youth Development Specialist/Educator.

Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
• Preferred: six hours in one or more PRKC domains for youth development.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for positive youth development in the community and MU Extension.
• Build external local partnerships to grow the 4-H program in the county.
• Coordinate and support 4-H Youth Development programs in the assigned area under supervision.
• Assist with planning, management, and evaluation of curricula emphasizing Leadership, Civic Engagement, STEM, Healthy Living, Agriculture and Natural Resources.
• Travel and work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, as required.
