PFG Customized in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Driver, Dedicated Backhaul to move food-related loads regionally and intrastate, ensuring on-time delivery and safe handling. The role entails operating a tractor-trailer or truck on local and long routes with adherence to DOT regulations.

The position supports a 4-day work week (Sun, Mon, Wed, Thu) with dispatch around 3–5 pm. Benefits begin Day 1, including health, uniforms, boot allowance, and competitive compensation.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsabilidades

• Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and/or PFG warehouse locations according to a predetermined route and delivery schedule.
• Delivers assigned loads back to PFG warehouse locations for receiving into inventory.
• Performs load and paperwork inspections including product counts, invoices, quality checks.
• Complete required paperwork for backhaul operations.
• Routinely check in with direct supervisor to confirm route, load, and schedule.
• Advise supervisor of load drop-off/pick-up issues and schedule changes.
