Job summary

PFG Customized Distribution in the United States is hiring a Driver, Dedicated Backhaul to support food distribution. You will operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks on local and interstate routes, ensuring on-time delivery and proper load handling, while representing the company in customer-facing settings.

This role offers a 4-day schedule (Sun, Mon, Wed, Thu) with 3-5 pm dispatch, guaranteed $200 daily pay, and benefits from day 1, including uniforms and boot allowance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• DOT health card current or able to secure.
• Clean MVR in past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and PFG warehouse locations per route and schedule.
• Deliver loads to PFG warehouses or customers and ensure correct product received.
• Perform load and paperwork inspections including counts and invoices.
• Complete required backhaul paperwork accurately.
• Check in with supervisor to confirm route, load, and schedule.
• Notify supervisor of load drop-off/pick-up issues and schedule changes; secure equipment at end of shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
