Job summary

PFG Customized Distribution is seeking a Driver, Dedicated Backhaul to support food and non-food product deliveries across local and interstate routes. You will be the face of the company, ensuring on‑time, safe deliveries and maintaining strong customer relationships.

This role requires a CDL-A, at least 6 months of driving experience, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift 10–90 pounds. Benefits start day one, including health coverage and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6 months commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL-A
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• DOT Health Card or ability to secure new DOT Health Card
• Able to lift and move product cases up to 90 pounds

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and/or PFG warehouse locations according to a predetermined route and delivery schedule
• Delivers assigned loads back to PFG warehouse locations for receiving into inventory
• Performs load and paperwork inspections including counts and invoices
• Check and complete required backhaul paperwork accurately
• Routinely check in with direct supervisor to confirm route and schedule
• Advise supervisor of load/drop-off issues and schedule changes
• Performs other related duties as assigned
