Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a Driver, Dedicated Backhaul to support its nationwide food distribution network. You will operate tractors or straight trucks on local and interstate routes, delivering and unloading food products to customers safely and on time.

The role offers a 4-day work week with dispatch Sunday to Thursday around 3–5 pm, guaranteed $200 daily pay, uniforms, boot allowance, and benefits from day one. Join a team focused on reliability, safety and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Able to lift up to 60–90 pounds.
• Meet state licensing or certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and/or PFG warehouse locations according to route and schedule.
• Deliver loads to PFG warehouses and ensure correct product is received.
• Perform load and paperwork inspections and quality checks.
• Complete required backhaul paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate with supervisor on route, load, and schedule; secure equipment at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
