Job summary

PFG Customized in Monroe, MI is seeking a Driver for Dedicated Backhaul to support food distribution. You will operate day cab or tractor-trailer routes, ensuring timely delivery and professional customer interactions. The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and accurate paperwork.

Schedule features a 4-day work week (Sun, Mon, Wed, Thu) with dispatching around 3–5 pm. Daily pay is guaranteed at $200, with uniforms, boot allowance, and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required and clean MVR in last 3 years.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Must be 21+ years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Drive to supplier/vendor and PFG warehouse locations per route and schedule.
• Deliver loads to PFG warehouses and ensure correct product received.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and route plans; communicate any schedule changes.
• Perform routine pre/post trip inspections and safety checks.
• Coordinate with supervisor on loads, routes, and issues.
• Assist with other related duties as assigned.
