Job summary

Performance Food Group (PFG Customized Distribution) seeks a Driver, Dedicated Backhaul to support the U.S. food distribution network.

You will operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks, ensuring timely delivery of food and related products while representing the company with customers. The role features a 4-day work week (Sun, Mon, Wed, Thu) with daily dispatch around 3–5pm, a guaranteed $200 daily pay, and benefits starting on day one, including uniforms and safety boot allowance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent required.
• 6 months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Able to lift and move product up to 10-35 lbs, with heavier loads up to 60-90 lbs with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive to assigned supplier/vendor and PFG warehouse locations per route and schedule.
• Delivers loads to PFG warehouse locations for inventory and receiving.
• Perform load and paperwork inspections including counts and invoices.
• Complete required backhaul paperwork accurately.
• Check in with supervisor to confirm route and load details.
• Inform supervisor of changes and secure equipment at end of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
