Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy settings within CVS Retail locations. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will follow a structured training roadmap, support the pharmacy team, and help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering caring, customer-focused service.

You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, learn SOPs, and collaborate with leadership to prepare for advanced roles.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over time; pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: be friendly and responsive to patients and colleagues
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply and dose when dispensing
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions appropriately
• Physical Demands: lift and move items as needed during shifts
