Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern role to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy practice. Under supervision, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, learn store, district, and regional operations, and contribute to safe, accurate prescription fulfillment with empathy.

You will gain hands-on experience in immunizations and patient services while adhering to SOPs and CVS policies, preparing you for advancement to a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn and apply SOPs, best practices, and effective communication within the pharmacy team.
• Provide immunization support and other patient services when allowed by state rules and training.
• Support inventory activities and pharmacy workflow across multiple workstations (production, pickup, drive-thru).
• Maintain patient safety and privacy while following federal, state, local laws and CVS policies.
