Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within CVS Retail locations. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured roadmap, assist with prescription fulfillment, and contribute to patient care and service excellence.

You will gain hands-on experience while preparing for a Pharmacist role, with opportunities to participate in immunizations and clinical activities under supervision.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and eligible for intern/technician licensure.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Physically capable of long shifts and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and progressive responsibilities.
• Assist pharmacists with safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Counsel patients and answer standard medical questions under supervision.
• Support immunization training and offsite clinic staffing as allowed.
• Maintain SOP adherence and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture.
