Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team in a retail setting. You will apply didactic learning, work under a licensed pharmacist, and complete a training roadmap that covers SOPs, patient safety, and leadership development.

The role emphasizes empathy, accurate dispensing, and collaboration across store operations. You will gain hands‑on experience with immunizations, prescription processing, and customer service while preparing for future pharmacist

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure patient prescriptions are filled promptly and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy standards.
• Provide empathetic, customer‑focused service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
• Support immunizations and other clinical services as allowed by state law and training.
• Travel between stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business.
