Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience across store operations, and support immunizations and other pharmacy services.

You will learn to operate as part of a pharmacy team while delivering safe and accurate prescriptions, upholding SOPs, and providing empathetic care to patients.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in every interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Follow SOPs and maintain compliance with state/federal regulations.
