Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Welder for the 3rd shift in our comm data/fabrication department. The role involves welding aluminum and steel, reading drawings, and handling parts up to 50 pounds. Shift is 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM with a starting pay of $28.07 plus $1.50 differential per hour.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of MIG/TIG welding experience in manufacturing, can stand for long periods, and actively participate in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year welding experience in a manufacturing environment (MIG/TIG).
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Ability to measure components with tape measures and calipers.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple repetitive tasks and assembly of parts and components.
• Operate welding unit, make minor adjustments, and weld aluminum and steel.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to identify weld locations.
• Remove excess weld, slag, and rough spots; support Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen).
