Job summary

Kewaunee Fabrications, an Oshkosh Corporation company, is hiring motivated welders. Join a stable team working with MIG/TIG welding on steel and aluminum, with light overhead duties and a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

Shift: 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Starting pay is $26.75/hour with premiums for aluminum/robot welding and for 2nd/3rd shifts, plus progressive pay growth and a robust benefits package after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Previous metal fabrication and/or welding experience.
• Basic blueprint reading and mechanical skills.
• Experience with at least one welding process and ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel and/or aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW processes.
• Use fixtures to position components and control distortion.
• Perform grinding, cleaning, and deburring as needed.
• Complete required job paperwork and labor documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform self-inspections and adhere to quality standards.
• Support preventative maintenance and assist coworkers as needed.
