Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Welder for the 3rd shift in Reno, NV. The role offers an hourly base rate of $28.07 plus a $1.50 per hour shift differential.

Core hours are 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a general guideline salary note by the employer based on skills and experience. Responsibilities include welding aluminum and steel, reading drawings, and performing basic assembly while adhering to LEAN initiatives and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year welding experience in a manufacturing environment (MIG/TIG).
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius only.
• No immigration sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic welding and assembly of parts using bolts, screws and fasteners.
• Operate welding unit and read engineering drawings to weld aluminum and steel.
• Remove excess welds and clean workpieces with grinders, brushes, chisels or scrapers.
• Follow Lean initiatives including 5-S and other visual management tools on the shop floor.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and kaizen activities across the facility.
