Job summary

Kewaunee Fabrications, an Oshkosh Corporation company, is hiring motivated welders for the 3rd shift in Kewaunee, WI. Skilled in MIG and/or TIG welding and working with steel and/or aluminum, you will join a stable team with strong craftsmanship and growth potential.

Starting pay is $26.75/hour with a +$1.00/hour shift premium for 3rd shift and +$0.50/hour for aluminum/robotic welding. Full benefits after 30 days, plus 401(k) with match, pension, PTO, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• Previous metal fabrication and/or welding experience.
• Basic blueprint reading and mechanical skills.
• Experience with at least one welding process and ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly (lifting devices available).
• Willingness to perform cleaning, grinding, and weld prep work.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel and/or aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW processes.
• Use fixtures to position components and control distortion.
• Perform grinding, cleaning, and deburring as needed.
• Complete required job paperwork and labor documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform self-inspections and adhere to quality standards.
• Support preventative maintenance and assist coworkers as needed.
