Job description

Job Title: Welder 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:00am Sun-Thurs)

Department: Fabrication

Accountability: This position reports to the Production Supervisor - Fabrication

Responsibilities

• Responsible for welding various metals: stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel.
• Welds and fabricates custom parts using a variety of machines including but not limited to Millermatic 250 MIG Welder and Syncrowave 350 LX TIG Welder.
• As workload requires, this position may involve other fabrication work in areas such as fastener insertion press, shear, spot weld machine, auto‑weld machine, milling machine, deburring, and sanding equipment.
• Executes work orders and engineering drawings.
• Receives verbal orders to fabricate custom designed parts and products.
• Receives written and verbal instruction on priority of orders.
• Receives, checks, and handles raw material from inventory as needed.
• Sets up for daily work according to production schedule and/or verbal instructions.
• Checks parts, products and machinery for defects.
• Works at different workstations as job requires.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area.
• Moves finished goods to other inventory or work areas.
• Assists with special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements
