Job summary

Winland Foods is seeking an Entry Warehouse Team Member / Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift at 1 Quality Place, Buckner, KY. Schedule: Tue-Fri, 4:00pm-2:30am, with overtime as required. Salary: $22.44/hr plus shift differential.

Responsibilities include safe equipment operation, inventory control with FIFO, packaging support, and adherence to GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and 5S practices. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate SAP systems is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; forklift certification a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts, box trucks, and SAP inventory management systems.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications (e.g., forklift, SAP).
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, wrapping machines, and related equipment.
• Perform inspections on all equipment and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow DOT and safety regulations when applicable.
• Move materials and ensure FIFO rotation.
• Accurately stage materials to prevent production downtime and return materials to proper locations.
• Handle recyclable materials according to plant processes.
• Deliver daily parcel shipments.
• Participate in inventory counts.
