Job summary

Johnson Controls Largo facility is seeking a shift supervisor to direct a manufacturing team on the 3rd shift in a fast-paced production environment. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while coordinating with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to meet daily objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration with a focus on continuous improvement and meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a craft apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or an industrial setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead change in a team environment and build effective teams.
• Cross-functionality and confidentiality handling are essential.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and make effective decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and root-cause analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach a team to meet safety, quality, productivity, and customer service goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure daily objectives are met.
• Monitor metrics such as safety, on-time delivery, and production costs.
