Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, industrial, foundry, metal processing, or related production experience.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to prioritize, delegate, and follow up on multiple responsibilities.
• Proven coaching, employee development, and team-building skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and shifts.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production employees through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management.
• Foster a safety-focused culture emphasizing accountability, teamwork, and respect.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth initiatives.
• Communicate expectations clearly and provide timely feedback and recognition.
• Promote employee engagement and a positive work environment.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals.
• Drive productivity, quality, and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, engineering and other departments.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, and resources to maximize efficiency.
• Address production challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
