Job summary

Charter Casting in Shawano, WI seeks a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in the Melt Department to lead daily operations, develop employees, and foster a safety-focused culture. You will guide teams, coach individuals, and drive performance improvements while coordinating with maintenance, quality, and engineering to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to Lean and Kaizen

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, industrial, foundry, metal processing, or related production experience.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to prioritize, delegate, and follow up on multiple responsibilities.
• Coaching, employee development, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production employees through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management.
• Foster a safety-focused culture with accountability and teamwork.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals.
• Drive productivity, quality, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and other departments.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, and resource allocation for efficiency.
• Address production challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
