Charter Casting – Woodstock, IL is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in finishing. You will oversee daily finishing operations, coach a team, and ensure safe, on-time production with quality results.

You will drive continuous improvement, apply company policies, and collaborate across departments to meet goals. The role offers full-time hours in a family-owned setting with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor employees.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead third-shift finishing operations to meet quality and output goals.
• Foster safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Supervise and develop production staff through coaching and evaluations.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and labor practices are applied consistently.
• Collaborate with management, engineering, quality, and support teams.
• Identify training needs and implement development plans.
• Manage performance reviews and wage adjustments.
• Monitor daily operations and maintain performance amid staffing changes.
• Support Lean initiatives and CI projects across the plant.
