Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical division is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift at our Santa Ana, CA facility. You will direct manufacturing activities to maximize productivity while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Lead a zero-incident culture, drive CI, and coach a cross-functional team to meet production goals. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or HS diploma with 5+ years supervision) and at least 1 year in manufacturing leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of five (5) years of supervisor or team leadership experience.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a team leadership or supervisor role within a manufacturing environment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or provide CPT/OPT/STEM OPT for this position and relocation is not available within 50 miles of Santa Ana, CA.

Responsibilities

• Foster a Zero Incident Safety Culture and align with Eaton’s Quality Management System.
• Coordinate department operations and prioritize production to meet on-time delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement through standardized processes and empower employees to improve standard work.
• Develop direct reports through coaching and cross training, and facilitate cross-shift collaboration.
• Schedule daily work and review in-process inventory to align with business goals.
• Lead accountability meetings and communicate safety, production, and policy updates.
• Maintain daily statistics on demand, production, and overdue orders and report metrics to management.
• Serve as central contact for production issues and coordinate with other departments as needed.
