Eaton is hiring for a Production Assembler on 2nd shift in Santa Ana, CA. The role involves building sub-assemblies and assemblies for Power Distribution Units and Transformers, following SOPs and ensuring quality standards.

Core hours are 1:45pm–10:15pm, with incentives tied to performance and safety. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and prior experience in production, packaging, or construction.

Competenze

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within a 50-mile radius considered; active-duty military exempt.
• Experience in production, packaging or construction.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Mansioni

• Follow SOPs to build sub-assemblies and assemblies.
• Use cranes to pick up and move transformers and materials.
• Perform visual inspections before and after assembly.
• Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble or repair products.
• Perform point-to-point wiring for Power Distribution Units.
• Work with sheetmetal to build transformer components.
• Operate oven and VPI tanks as part of the process.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Adhere to EH&S rules and provide safety improvement ideas.
