Job summary

Modine in Grenada, MS is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, develop and manage all activities in the manufacture of heat transfer products, while meeting budgets and maintaining a union-free plant environment.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires leadership, lean manufacturing know-how, SAP/Kronos experience, and a focus on safety, productivity, and delivery on time.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience required.
• SAP and Kronos experience a plus; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Selects and trains employees to perform tasks effectively.
• Manage day-to-day operations: planning, scheduling, staffing and machine maintenance.
• Meet or exceed the annual manufacturing budget.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Promote safety and lead safety initiatives plant-wide.
• Balance manpower with production loads and forecasts.
• Ensure on-time shipment while controlling cost and quality.
