Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in packaging or related manufacturing.
• Experience with SQF / Food Safety Programs required.
• Strong in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document daily performance reports by preparing and analyzing production data.
• Skillfully manage and direct employees daily; shift size up to 25+ employees.
• Oversee various roles including Quality Technicians, the Warehouse, and others.
• Supervise all traceability paperwork and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Correct and report any unsafe conditions.
• Train all employees on your shift.
• Maintain scheduling of production to meet customer needs.
• Review and calculate employee timecards daily via Paychex system.
• Provide coaching and discipline to employees under guidance of HR.
• Write and issue performance evaluations.
• Willing to work a line to help the team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Document daily performance reports by preparing and analyzing production data
• Skillfully manage and direct employees daily; shift size up to 25+ employees
• Oversee Bottle Packer, Material Handlers, Quality Technicians, and Mechanics, working in conjunction with Warehouse, Customer Service, SQF Practitioner, Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, HR Manager, and Plant Manager
• Attention to detail required; supervise all traceability paperwork and ensure products are documented accurately
• Correct and report any unsafe conditions
• Train all employees on your shift
• Maintain scheduling of production to meet customer needs and keep labor/overtime costs to a minimum
• Review and calculate employee timecards daily via Paychex system
• Provide coaching and discipline to employees under guidance of Human Resources
• Write and issue performance evaluations
• Willing to work a line to help the team
