Arkema Inc. in Greenville, SC seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor for 3rd shift (9:00pm - 5:30am). You will lead daily production, coach frontline teams, drive Lean initiatives, and partner with planning, maintenance, and supply chain to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

The role emphasizes 4S/5S, Kaizen participation, and strong cross-functional leadership to deliver reliable performance and employee development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing supervision or leadership experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent in Business/Industrial Operations Management/Engineering.
• Knowledge of production, logistics, and maintenance operations.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards.
• Material planning experience.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints education or experience preferred.
• OSHA training preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proven conflict resolution and employee relations experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and influence plant performance.
• Provide direct supervision of production personnel and development.
• Ensure process records are accurate and complete in Movex.
• Promote safety initiatives such as 4S, SBO, Pure Safety, Safety Zone, and 5S.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities with Kaizen participation.
• Manage authorized purchasing activities within budget expectations.
• Ensure 6 Box Rules compliance and material availability for schedules.
• Adjust workforce allocation to meet changing production demands.
• Conduct routine floor rounds to resolve safety, quality, and production concerns.
• Coordinate maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
• Lead daily efforts to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Monitor KPIs, drive accountability, and implement corrective actions.
• Use A3/B3 problem-solving to identify root causes.
• Coach, train, evaluate performance, and assist wage decisions.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring.
• Complete and audit shop floor 5S standards and checklists.
• Audit production documentation for accuracy and compliance.
