Job summary

Arkema Inc in Ringwood, IL seeks a Production Operator for 2nd or 3rd shift to safely operate and maintain chemical processing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality production while adhering to safety standards.

You will work with automated controls, weigh and charge chemicals, perform light maintenance, and document batch data in SAP in a fast-paced, team-based environment with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma, equivalent, or satisfactory work record.
• Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
• Prior chemical operator or forklift experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain chemical processing equipment to meet quality specs.
• Troubleshoot issues and apply problem solving to keep production on track.
• Operate automated control systems and manual equipment during shifts.
• Weigh and charge chemicals to process vessels accurately.
• Complete batch documentation and SAP entries.
• Move materials with forklift/pallet jacks and uphold safety standards.
